27 de janeiro de 2012

IEI-LA is proud to announce it was commissioned again to carry out new Measurement & Verification (M&V) activities for a low-income energy efficiency program in Brazil. IEI-LA participated in the previous program.

In addition to the M&V activities in the low-income program, IEI-LA will also carry out such activities in the residential sector. Another change is the replacement of new equipment other than lamps and refrigerators. Reducing energy consumption and peak demand by electric showers will also be targeted by the energy efficiency program.

The measurement and verification methodology is currently being prepared.

The program spams from 2011 to 2013 and is part of the mandatory energy efficiency investments power distribution utilities must implement since 1998. The utility responsible for the program is one of the largest ones.
